After a failed stint in college, Gerald Waller is a reclusive lion who is unhappy with his static life. Buried are his desires of being an artist like his late-mother along with the prospect of finding love. When chance connects him with Michael, an optimistic fox with a penchant for the guitar, Gerald begins to see life with a fresh perspective and optimism. With renewed inspiration, Gerald resurrects an ambitious painting project and soon falls in love with Michael.
