Description
September 11th was a day that my life was forever changed On that day in 2004, my daughter Octavia, affectionately known as Tavi, and my son Christopher Jr., affectionately known as C.J., were crossing a street in our Nation's Capital when they were both struck down by a suspect who was fleeing police during a high speed chase. Perhaps you can imagine the pain my heart was feeling; a pain that's indescribable, but one that has become all too familiar for many parents who've had to bury their children. While going through the difficult process of learning to live with the loss of my two youngest children, I remained determined to Hold To God's Unchanging Hands. In doing so, God brought me to a place where I have begun to experience true joy, peace, comfort, and healing, and I thank Him for that. Now I invite you to share my journey to recovery after the loss of my babies, which has led to a road of faith, forgiveness, and victory
