About the Author
Kat Ward is fifty-six (although, having recently survived bowel cancer, she never expected to make it to fifty-anything) and lives on the border of England and North Wales, deep in the Shropshire countryside. Kat has always regarded herself as a 'failed person' in that she was never any good at being married or holding a relationship together, and also described herself as an appalling and failed parent -- simply because she had no idea how to do it properly and generally, in every aspect, a failure all round. Since writing the first autobiography 'Keri' her confidence gradually grew a little and she began to see a very few positives in life and believe, not just in herself but also in others and the system. Sadly, shortly thereafter not only was she struck down by bowel cancer but also at the same time, hounded by the Press and Media, who had become aware that she had written about a certain celebrity and his abuse of girls at Duncroft. Unwittingly and to a large degree, unwillingly, Kat has since become known as the woman who blew the whistle on the great Sir Jimmy Savile -- an honour she would much rather live without if she is honest.
