About the Author
The author has been involved in the commercial fishing industry for forty years, having lived and worked with her husband aboard a variety of vessels. She has written federally funded grants for sea scallop aquaculture and is retired from the Provincetown and Truro Public School Systems, where in her professional capacity she worked as a school nurse and as co-ordinator for the Health Project.
