We who are part of Alcoholics Anonymous are more than a hundred women and men who have managed to recover from a seemingly hopeless health condition, both of our minds and our bodies. Thus, the main purpose of this book is to inform other alcoholic people, in a detailed manner, HOW WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RECOVER. We hope that these pages will be convincing enough to the reader affected by alcoholism, so that they do not seek further certainty on the subject. We share the idea that this communication of our experiences will also help other people to better understand the alcoholic. There are many who still do not understand that the alcoholic is a very sick person. On the other hand, we are sure that our new way of life represents advantages for everyone.
