Final tips for entering cultural management The author Álvaro Vargas - Espacio Plano B After several years of experience in cultural programming from the public sector, we decided to set up our contemporary art gallery, Espacio Plano B in Granada, in 2008, with a program of exhibitions featuring both young and established artists. From the beginning, we committed to our presence at art fairs, and in 2010 we decided to move and open a new space in Madrid. During these more than 10 years dedicated to the programming and management of cultural projects, it is worth highlighting in the field of art, the creation and direction of the Room Art Fair since 2010, in which more than thirty galleries from all over the country and more than 5000 visitors participate in each edition, and the specialized photography fair JaalPhoto, since 2011. We have also curated more than thirty exhibitions outside our gallery, as well as organized concerts, film series, solidarity events, lectures, meetings, conferences... and various training events in institutions such as CCCB (Barcelona), Complutense University of Madrid, University of Alicante, Valentín de Madariaga Foundation of Seville, Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia, ABC Museum of Madrid, BilbaoArte, Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia, Center for Historical Memory of Granada, etc.
