About the Author
Walter L. Liefeld is Distinguished Professor Emeritus of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and is the author of the book on Luke in the Expositor's Bible Commentary series. He joined the faculty in 1963 and continued to work at TEDS for thirty-one years. Dr. Liefeld has also served as pastor or interim pastor in various churches in New York and Illinois. Most recently he was the senior pastor of Christ Church Lake Forest, Illinois. Both Dr. Liefeld and his wife Olive have been personally active in missionary work in various parts of the world.
