About the Author
Neil Gaiman is a critically acclaimed and award-winning author, including the World Fantasy Award and the Bram Stoker Award. Author of adult fantasy novels such as American Gods, Neverwhere and Stardust - which won the American Library Association Award in 2000 - and a famous anthology of short stories titled Smoke and Mirrors, Gaiman's international prestige is due to his children's book The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish (illustrated by Dave McKean), as well as the comic book series starring Sandman.
