Mutual Aid is a book about mutual aid and cooperation within the evolutionary process, written by the Russian anarchist Piotr Kropotkin during his exile in England. It was first published by William Heinemann in London in October 1902. The various chapters had originally been published between 1890 and 1896 as a series of essays in the British monthly literary magazine, The Nineteenth Century.

He was a geographer and naturalist, as well as a Russian political thinker. He is considered one of the main theorists of the anarchist movement, within which he was one of the founders of the anarcho-communist school, and developed the theory of mutual aid. He passed away on February 8, 1921
