Lincoln Child was born in Westport, Connecticut, and graduated from Northfield, Minnesota. After working for a few years as a novel editor, he began to combine his work with writing, his true passion, until he finally decided to dedicate himself exclusively to writing. He has written a series of highly successful novels alongside Douglas Preston, with whom he forms a well-matched tandem (La ciudad sagrada, Los asesinatos de Manhattan, Naturaleza muerta, La mano del diablo, all published by Plaza & Janés). He currently lives in New Jersey with his wife and daughter.
