About the Author
Cixin Liu is the most prolific and popular science fiction author in the People's Republic of China. Liu has been awarded eight Galaxy Awards (the equivalent in his country of the Hugo Award) and the Chinese Nebula, before turning his "Three-Body Trilogy" into a work capable of selling one million copies in China alone, arousing the unanimous interest of the entire West, winning the 2015 Hugo Award for best novel, and gaining advocates of the stature of Barack Obama and Mark Zuckerberg.

His enormous success is now repeated in all international markets, thanks to genre fans, but also, and above all, to the millions of readers interested in geopolitical news and in China's past and future.
