Descripción
The most radical refoundation of the Argentine classic Martín Fierro, a reivindicative novel about the liberation of a woman who embraces the overflowing landscapes of La Pampa. Radiant and luminous. The desert is a prism of dogs, thistles, dust and sky. La China Iron, the woman who won Martín Fierro in a card game, accompanies Liz, an Englishwoman who is tracking her husband. China, now freed from the gaucho's ropes, embarks on a journey of exploration through the textures, flavors and pleasures that the land and her new companion offer her. After a long journey, they will arrive at Paraíso, where they will find a free world, in which creatures embrace each other out of desire and rivers, birds and trees enjoy the same love. Gabriela Cabezón Cámara creates a fascinating literary exercise where she reimagines the universe of the great Argentine story in a gender key, through a passionate queer adventure.
