- Why you should focus on nutritional biochemistry and use technology and medical data to personalize your eating patterns, instead of sticking to strict diets.
- Why it is essential to take care of emotional health in addition to physical health. When he was in his early thirties, Dr. Peter Attia was a marathon swimmer, crossing ocean passages like the Catalina Channel. However, he had no idea that his health was surprisingly fragile or that he was at risk of dying prematurely from heart disease. That discovery prompted him to investigate how and why we die, and how it is possible to delay or even prevent the most lethal chronic diseases, such as heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer's, and type 2 diabetes. In this revolutionary work, Dr. Attia teaches us to think about long-term health and to create the best plan for each of us. Life expectancy and health are much more malleable than we think, so we all have the possibility of charting a life path that allows us to exceed our expectations and make each decade better than the last.
