A Marriage with a Purpose: A Systematic Exposition of the Book of Ruth

This work is not intended to be an exegetical commentary on the Book of Ruth. Rather, it is my desire to emphasize some captivating scenes that effortlessly stand out, discovering in them a variety of figures that aid in a better understanding of the book. Throughout its reading, questions have arisen in my mind, leading me to elaborate on possible answers. Strikingly, most of these questions emerge when considering the unique images that arise from its content. These are questions intended to create unease in the heart, challenging us not to conform and, at the same time, encouraging us to reevaluate some areas in which we sometimes think everything is fine, both in the secular, spiritual, and fundamentally in the marital sphere. Because that is how the work is titled: A Marriage with Purpose.
